A Working Ice Maker Keeps Us Cool

With the temperatures and heat indices continuing to rise, ice cold drinks help us stay comfortable. When your icemaker isn't working, it makes matters a bit hotter. One of our Ankeny customers has a Kenmore Refrigerator (Model 106.52602100) that was leaking and it had a broken ice maker. The customer called Green’s; Paul went out to fix the problem.  He cleared ice from the refrigerator's drain and cleaned an obstruction as well. As for the icemaker, he was able to find that there was a gear broken, and they needed a new washer for it as well.  Once the parts came in, Paul was able to fix the icemaker for the customer, and everything is working great now.
